LaGrange could not get much going in a 54-8 loss to Fayette County on Tuesday.

The Grangers offense could not find a rhythm in the game which led to the Grangers trailing 13-0 after the first quarter and it did not get better from there. The Grangers had to settle for a 33-2 deficit at halftime. The second half saw much of the same as the Grangers could not find a way back into the game.

Kelis Atchinson finished as the Grangers leading scorer in the game with three points. Ta’Niya Taylor and Muffin Pope each finished with two points while Brittney Heard scored a point to round out the scoring for the Grangers on the night.

LaGrange fell to 6-15 overall and 3-8 in region play. The Grangers will return to the court on Friday on the road to Starr’s Mill in a region matchup.
