Mrs. Runell Greene Johnson, (99), of LaGrange, passed away on Jan. 30, 2023.  

Mrs. Johnson was born on Sept. 11, 1923, in Woodland, Alabama to the late George Greene and Tinnie Brown Greene.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Johnson and her daughter, Carolyn Griffin and Carolyn’s husband, Frank Griffin.  

Survivors include her son, Jerry Johnson and his wife Louise; grandchildren, Ashely Adams (Gene), Jay Johnson and Adrienne Griffin; great-grandchildren, Gavin Adams, Evan Adams, Jonathan Pierson, Weston Adams and Josie Johnson; numerous nieces and nephew and extended family.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, at 11 A.M at Shadowlawn Cemetery with Pastor Jason Jones officiating.
