Victor Michael King, Sr., (79), of LaGrange, Georgia passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Jan. 28, 2023. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Winard Brown King, Sr. and Maude Still King, as well as his two brothers, Winard Brown King, Jr. and Kenneth Lee King.

Mike is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Bonnie King of Lagrange, Georgia; his children Kandice King of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Michael and Misty King of Lagrange, Georgia; his grandchildren, Anna, Jason, and Molly King, of Lagrange, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews that he adored with all his heart.

The family with receive friends Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand at 506 Hill Street in Lagrange, Georgia. 

Visitation will be between the hours of 2 P.M.- 3 P.M. with a memorial service to immediately follow. 

The family will then welcome friends at their home at 603 Hill Street to celebrate Mike’s life and legacy.

In consideration of Mike’s love for animals, donations in his honor may be made to the Troup County Humane Society at 1390 Orchard Hill Road, Lagrange, Georgia or to any local shelter. 

Flowers, condolences, and prayers will also be accepted.
