Lafayette Christian School saw its season come to an end on Friday in a 65-27 loss to Creekside.

The Cougars got into an early hole and were never able to dig out of it, trailing 16-4 after the first quarter. It did not get better from there as the Cougars were outmatched for the entire game.

One of the lone bright spots was Carmen Bridges, who had to carry the offensive load all season and finished with 21 points on Friday. The only other scorer in the game for the Cougars was Leah Ward, who connected on two 3-pointers in the second quarter to finish with six points.

The Cougars finished the 2023 season 2-12 overall and 0-7 in the region.
