Callaway blew past Kendrick 9-2 on Thursday to earn a dominant home win.

It was out of hand early with the Cavaliers taking a 5-0 lead before halftime.

Callaway had two different players score hat-tricks in the game — Journee Jordan and Nelson Herrera. Herrera was every bit the playmaker for the Cavaliers and also finished with two assists in the game.

Eli Jones grabbed a goal and an assist in the game. Avery Brooks scored his first goal of the season while freshman Ricky Vaughn grabbed a goal as well to keep up his torrid start to life on the pitch at Callaway. Jayden Bailey provided two assists in the game.

Brayden Morris made three saves in goal.

Callaway improved to 2-2 on the season and have now won two in a row after a shaky start to the season. The Cavaliers will be back on the pitch Friday away to Central (Phenix City, Ala.).
