Mrs. Carolyn Elaine Gay Railey, age 74, of LaGrange, passed away on February 10, 2023. Mrs. Railey was born on August 16, 1948 in LaGrange to the late Mose Gay and Hattie Mae Freeman Gay. She was a homemaker by choice and cared for all the needs of her family. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children, Elaine May, Lynn Railey, Denise Railey and Rhonda Railey. She was also preceded in death by her five brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Holley; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. Interment will follow the service at the Pine Mountain/Chipley City Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 pm.
