Catherine Ann Russell Burks passed away Saturday.

She was born June 15, 1947, to the late J. T. Cameron and Galdy Phillips Russell in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia.

She graduated from East Depot High School, Class of 1966; united with  Smyrna Baptist Church; and retired from  Kentucky Fried Chicken .

Survivors include her children:  Richard Burks, Sanford (Johnair) Burks, Anthony (Yashica) Burks, Ernest Adams III, Marsh (Tyrone) Stinson, all of LaGrange, Georgia; Daryl (Rochelle) Burks of Stockbridge, Georgia; brothers:  Curtis (Willie Mae) Russell and Calvin Stargell; several grandchildren; sisters:  Janice Harris, Shirley Harris; brothers-in-law:  Jack (Dorothy) Ronnie (Gail) Burks, Douglas (Debbie) Burks; sisters-in-law:  Apostle Mary Edwards, Gloria Burks, Anita (Curray) Delaney; aunt, Yvonne (Charlie) Hixson; and an array of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Service will be Friday at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
