A candlelight service and balloon release ceremony will be held Saturday in memory of a teen killed last week at Southbend Bark.

The ceremony will be in remembrance of Nasir Truitt, 16, and will be held Saturday, March 11 at Southbend Park, located at 309 Pierce Street in LaGrange at 7:30 p.m.

The family is asking everyone to bring white balloons to release and white candles. Some balloons and candles will be provided, but the family wants to ensure everyone will have their own.
