Charles E. Lee Jr, 62, of Warm Springs, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at West Georgia Hospice.

Charles was born June 15, 1960 to the late Charles E. Lee, Sr. and Vivian B. Lee.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Perry Lee of LaGrange; grandparents Jim and Alma Bryant of Grantville, GA and grandmother, Agnes Veal of LaGrange, GA.

He is survived by his mother, Vivian B. Lee of LaGrange; brother, Jeff (Lisa) Lee of LaGrange; sister-in-law, Vicky Lee of LaGrange as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles was a dedicated career law enforcement officer. He served with the Georgia State Patrol, a deputy with the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Department and the Troup County Sheriff’s Department, Police Chief for 15 years with the Warm Springs Police Department and 4 years as Mayor of Warm Springs. He was currently serving as a Sheriff’s Deputy with the Talbot County Sheriff’s Department.

A Graveside Funeral Services will be held 12:00 P.M Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange, GA. The Gathering of Family and Friends will take place prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
