LaGrange boys and girls tennis dominates North Clayton for easy region win

Riding the high of a successful weekend of tennis at the Granger Invitational Tennis Tournament, LaGrange high boys and girls had no problems with North Clayton on Wednesday to earn another region win for both programs. Both boys and girls teams dominated North Clayton 5-0 as the Grangers were simply in another class than their opponents. 

Girls Individual Results:

No. 1 Singles: Sophie Nix (LG) defeated Solinee Crawford (NC) 8 – 0

No. 2 Singles: Alisa Lee (LG) defeated Cindy Hernandez (NC) 8 – 0

No. 3 Singles: Ava Wallace (LG) defeated Malai Love (NC) 8 – 2

No. 1 Doubles: Abby Grace Kornek and Anna Claire Lumpkin (LG) defeated Emmanuella

Rivera and Unique Ward (NC) 8 – 0

No. 2 Doubles: Ana Rollings and Cara Skinner (LG) won by forfeit

Boys Individual Results:

No. 1 Singles: Wesley Minicozzi (LG) defeated Devyn Cuadra (NC) 8 – 0

No. 2 Singles: Noah Black (LG)) defeated Felix Rosas (NC) 8 -0

No. 3 Singles: Henry Huberdeau (LG) defeated Ishaq Akinloye (NC) 8 – 1

No. 1 Doubles: Towson Partin and Kevin Park (LG) defeated Elijah Spann and Amadon Bah

(NC) 8 – 0

No. 2 Doubles: Collin Jeffries and Benjamin Lee (LG) won by forfeit

LaGrange girls are 11 – 5 (Region 2 – 1) while the boys improved to 12 – 4 (Region 2 – 1). The Grangers will play at Troup on Thursday.
