LaGrange (0-17) beach volleyball will close the regular season this weekend with four matches, including against the defending national champions and national runner-up, at the Berry DIII Beach Bash from March 24-25 in Rome, Georgia.

The Panthers will open against opposite ends of the spectrum on Friday, March 24 when they take on defending NCAA Division III national champion Stevenson (10-3) at 10 a.m. before facing first-year program Lynchburg (6-10) at 1:30 p.m. They will then play national runner-up Hendrix (7-10) at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 before closing against host Berry (9-8) at 5 p.m.

The Panthers come in having dropped a 5-0 decision at Huntingdon (3/8) in a midweek affair while Stevenson comes in having won two in a row, knocking off Eckerd (3-2 on 3/16) and Florida Southern (3-2 on 3/18). They have only dropped three matches all year, falling 3-2 to Hendrix on March 4, dropping a 4-1 decision to Spring Hill that same day. Their only other loss was a 5-0 final to Saint Leo (3/16).

Since leaving LaGrange with a 3-5 record on February 25, Lynchburg has gone 3-4 with wins over Bob Jones (4-1 o 3/4), East Texas Baptist (3-2 on 3/17) and, most recently, a 4-1 decision against Ottawa (3/18). After winning four of five over the first two weeks of this month, Hendrix comes in having dropped five of their last six. The last three of those were all 3-2 decisions against Park from March 18-19.

The host Vikings come in having lost three of their last four, falling 5-0 to Eastern Kentucky (3/11), 5-0 to No. 20 Coastal Carolina (3/11), knocked off Catawba (5-0 on 3/12) and fell 4-1 to host College of Charleston (3/12).
