It was anything but easy but two first half goals from Rebecca Bryan was enough to see the Cougars prevail 2-1 over Trinity Christian Opelika.

Bryan scored the first goal early in the first half to give the Cougars an early advantage. Her second goal on the eve of halftime was a real moment of class as she picked up the ball a dozen or so yards outside of the penalty box and unleashed a thunderous strike that alluded the goalkeeper and nestled in the corner of the net. 

The Cougars were out under pressure in the second half and were able to hold on despite Trinity getting a goal.
