Mrs. Katherine Virginia Worthy Anderson, ( 8)5, of LaGrange, passed away on March 29, 2023.  Mrs. 

Anderson was born on November 29, 1937 in LaGrange to the late James B. Worthy, Sr. and Willie Arizona Thompson Worthy.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Anderson and a sister, Elizabeth Worthy.  

Mrs. Anderson took great pride in being a Nurse and caring for the needs of her patients.  

Survivors include her siblings, James Worthy, Mary Worthy Arnold (the late William David Arnold) and Ruby Worthy Davis (William); numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 4 P.M. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand. 

 Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery/Hillview Annex.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 P.M.-4 P.M. at the funeral home.
