Police are investigating an incident where two employees were shot over a dispute at Aaron’s Furniture in LaGrange.

LaGrange Police responded to the call around 5:39 p.m. in reference to shots fired inside the store.

LPD Detective John Slonaker was the first to arrive and made contact with two Aaron’s employees with gunshot wounds.

Slonaker said one of the victims had a gunshot wound to the shoulder and the other had a gunshot wound to the inner thigh right below their groin.

Police began first aid measures until AMR and the LaGrange Fire Department arrived to take over emergency medical care. The victims were then transported to separate medical facilities.

Slonaker said detectives are still investigating but he was able to confirm it was not a robbery and the shooting suspect was not another employee.

LPD has not released the identity of any potential suspects and is currently actively pursuing leads from the incident.

Updates will be provided as they become available.
