UPDATE: On Tuesday, Taquavious Smith was arrested by the LaGrange Police Department.
ORIGINAL STORY:
One suspect has been arrested and another is wanted for a shooting at Aaron’s on Commerce Avenue Monday afternoon.
The LaGrange Police Department said in a press release that Zaniyyah Muhammad, 19, was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault and Taquavious Smith, 20, is wanted for the same charges. The duo shot two employees at Aaron’s, who were both airlifted for medical treatment.
The LPD responded to the scene at 5:41 p.m. LaGrange Fire Department and EMS treated the employees injured at the scene before they were airlifted.
The LPD’s criminal investigations division has taken over the investigation.
