Mrs. Eddress Parks passed away Sunday at Wellstar WGMC.

She  was born in Gay, Georgia on Feb. 2, 1937, to the late Crawford Sr. and Mattie Parks. 

Eddress Parks was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Jack Parks on Sept. 15, 1957. To their union two children were born.

She was a part of the brush department at Goody Product formerly known as Goodman & Sons where she later retired. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Wayne (Jennie) Parks, Greenville, Georgia, one daughter, Jackie (Roger) Woodyard, LaGrange, Georgia; she was blessed to have six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters Mrs. Laura Evans, Mrs. Martha J (Fred) Baker; two brothers, Mr. Edward Parks and Mr. MacArthur Parks; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Annette Parks along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

The Service will be Saturday at 3 P.M. at New Springfield Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Mrs. Parks is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
