Mrs. Kathryn Knight, (88), of LaGrange, passed away on April 27, 2023.  

Mrs. Knight was born on July 15, 1934,  in LaGrange to the late Ben Knopp and Delta Holdridge Knopp.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jay Knight, a son, David Knight, infant son, William Timothy, a grandson, Bronson Knight, brothers, Vernon Knopp and Charles Knopp and a sister, Judy Dunn.  

In addition to caring for the needs of her family, Mrs. Knopp worked at West Point Pepperell in Accounts Payable and graciously supported her husband throughout his many years in the Ministry of the Gospel. 

Survivors include her son, Mark Knight and his wife Cindy; grandchildren, Natalie Mixon (Billy), Brittany Veal (Julian), Nathan Knight, Kimberly Burks (Chris) and Karley Knight (Drew Bledsoe); six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Diane Knight; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 3 P.M. at the Dunson Baptist Church with Pastor Dwayne Perdue officiating.  

Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Sunday at the church beginning at 2 P.M.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dunson Baptist Church, 5 Barnard Avenue, LaGrange, 30241 or to the Mountville Baptist Church, 4505 Greenville Road, LaGrange, 30241.
