Mrs. Dorothy Hargett Pruitt passed away Friday.

She was born April 4, 1946, to the late Marshall Hargett, Sr. and Thelma Burton Matthews in Hamilton, Harris County, Georgia.

She united with Mountain Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Hamilton, educated in Harris County, and was employed by Harris County High School.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Pruitt; four children:  Robert (Tommie) Pruitt, Jr., LaGrange, Georgia; Derrick (Carla) Pruitt, Pine Mountain, Georgia; Casey Pruitt, Whitesville, Georgia; Barrie (Derrick) Huling, Shiloh, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers:  Calvin (Velma) Mathis, Cape Cod, MA and Randy Matthews, West Point, Georgia; five sisters:  Ossie Talley, Patricia (Rick) Sanders, West Point, Georgia; Lucille (Willie) Kimbrough, Hamilton, Georgia; Thelma (Earl) Odoms, Fortson, Georgia; and Allison Copeland, Columbus, Georgia; two sisters-in-law:  Raycine Hargett and Shirley Hargett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 11 A.M. at Mountain Hill Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Mrs. Pruitt is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
