Lady Storm beat the Lady Knockouts to advance to 13U championship game

The Lady Storm are marching on after beating the Lady Knockouts 8-5 in a dramatic game that saw the Lady Storm advance to the 13U parks and rec championship game against a yet to be determined opponent. 

The Lady Storm were able to shut out the Lady Knockouts in the first inning before going on to score five runs in the bottom of the inning. Emery Wetzel, Hadley Harrison, Kenzie Boyd, Bailey Boyd and Markayla McKee all scored to give the Lady Storm an early 5-0 lead. 

The Lady Knockouts came storming right back and scored five of their own runs in the second inning to tie the game. Jerrica Jones, O’lyvia Franks, Taylor Thompson, Brynlee Dixon and Leah Ramsey all scored to give the Knockouts some life.

But it was the Lady Storm who delivered the knockout blow with three runs in the second inning to end the game. Wetzel and Harrison each scored their second run of the game while Haiden Hill scored her first.
