Ms. Doris Armstrong passed away Tuesday.

She was born Sept. 20, 1956, to the late Joseph and Juneries Lacoste Lindsey, Sr. in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She graduated from John McDonogh Sr. High School.

Survivors include her children:  Darryl J. (Tennesha) Armstrong, Jr., Deneshia Armstrong (Bryan) Anderson; several grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings:  Wanda Swanson, Lisa Lindsey, Desiree Gunn, Anthony Lindsey, Janice Lacoste, Mildred Howard; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The excellent care of Ms. Armstong is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
