LaGrange Police Chief Garrett Fiveash has confirmed that four officers have resigned amid an ongoing investigation.

Fiveash confirmed that four officers have resigned from their positions with the LaGrange Police Department. It’s still unclear as to why the LPD personnel were under investigation.

Fiveash previously stated they had been placed on administrative leave during the investigation, which is being handled by the West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office.

The new chief said that their intention is not to hide anything and details will be released upon the completion of the investigation.

“Because of the nature of the investigation we cannot release any further details at this time,” Fiveash said.

More information will be provided as soon as it becomes publicly available.
