The LaGrange Police Department is searching for a missing elderly woman.

Joanne Thomas, 82, went missing from the 700 block of Hill St. on Sunday, June 4. Thomas was last seen wearing faded blue jeans and either a tan and red or tan and pink striped shirt.

Thomas is an African American female described as 5 feet 6 inches, weighing about 120 lbs.

Police Chief Garrett Fiveash said officers are actively looking for Thomas as she has dementia.
