Arthur Spencer, Jr., (83), of LaGrange, passed away on June 15, 2023. 

He was born on Jan. 13, 1940, to the late Arthur Spencer, Sr. and Mary Louise Waldon in Tennessee. He proudly served our country and retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class (E-7). 

In addition to his parents, he now joins his wife, Jayne Trippe Spencer in Heaven. He was a hardworking man and enjoyed time with his family. A private family graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, at the Meadoway Gardens Cemetery beginning at 2 P.M.   

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Arthur and Jayne Spencer, Jr. to the LaGrange Troup County Humane Society.
