Kyle Brown has lived in Troup County his whole life. Now, 38, Brown owns and operates Barnes Vault Company which is a grave digging and burial vault installation company located in LaGrange.

Since Barnes Vault Company was a family business, Brown has had an involvement with the company since about the age of six years old, In 2017, Brown and his best friend Timmy Monteith decided to buy the company from Kyle’s dad.

Always trying to stay busy, Brown also ran a hauling business from 2019 to 2022 that delivered equipment all over Georgia and Alabama.

The most rewarding thing about his current job, Brown says, is playing a major part in making sure that someone’s last memory of their loved one’s final resting place is full of heartfelt feelings under what are very emotional circumstances.

Brown is a proud member of NWTF, the National Wild Turkey Federation, an international non-profit organization whose mission is the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage.

Brown and his business partner, Monteith, support the students within the Troup County community by donating to various school sports, school marching bands and the Troup County Elementary Green Power Racing Program. There are quite a few Troup County Elementary schools involved with the program which recently had teams go to and place in the top 5 at the Greenpower USA 24 National Championship held back in May at the Talladega Superspeedway.

In November of 2017, Brown married Mary Anna. They have a 15 year old son named Brantley.

In his free time, Brown enjoys spending time with his family, going to Tybee Island, deep sea fishing, riding side-by-sides at Top Trails and Indian Mountain and relaxing by the pool with friends. Brown even traveled up to Pennsylvania through the Amish land.

One day, Brown and Monteith hope to expand Barnes Vault Company which will enable them to help more families within the Troup County community and possibly other surrounding communities.
