Kitchen Worker at Troup County Jail Arrested

On Feb. 5, 2025, a contract kitchen worker in the Troup County Jail was arrested after an investigation revealed that the person allegedly brought cigarettes into the jail facility and distributed them to an inmate in exchange for payment.
Loleta Mayshawn Turner, of LaGrange, was charged with Items Prohibited by an Inmate and Crossing the Guard line after she reportedly accepted two payments of $60.00 ($120.00 total) through CashApp in exchange for bringing in two packs of cigarettes.
The inmate that received the cigarettes, Quantorrious Deamond Talley, was also charged with Items Prohibited by an Inmate and Crossing the Guard line.
