On Friday, February 7, 2025, at 2335 hours, officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to 1016 Stonewall Street in reference to a person being shot at. When they arrived, they were able to locate the victim. The victim reported they were shot at by Roy Ware. The Criminal Investigations Division was notified and Detective Horseman responded. The investigation determined that Ware did shoot at the victim after the two were engaged in an argument. Ware was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
