Robert Murray Jr.,56, of Lagrange departed on Monday at his residence.
Robert James Murray Jr. the son of the late Robert, Sr. & Frances Murray was born in Columbus, GA.
He was a graduate of Baker High School in Columbus and entered into military service with the U.S. Navy. During his 10 years of service, he was a decorated soldier serving tours in over 12 countries including Saudi Arabia, Turkey Naples, Spain & Greece.
Robert was a creative award winning artist crafting oils, pastels & sketches and a passion for luxury cars.
To cherish his memory; his loving wife Yolanda Murray of Lagrange, daughter Kiara Murray and (Amber) of Columbus, brother Randy Murray of Ft Smith, AK, sister Tena Murray of Saginaw, MI, loving relatives and special friends
Funeral service will be on Monday, 11 A.M. at Canaan Baptist Church with Ronnie Person, Associate Pastor officiating and eulogist Overseer Diane Moore.
Interment with Military Honors will be in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Alabama.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of MWJ Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 P.M.-7 P.M.
