Due to a recent influx of animals coming into the shelter, the LaGrange Animal Shelter is experiencing an urgent need for adoptions.

Nearly two dozen animals, 12 dogs and 11 cats, are fully vetted and ready for adoption. The adoption fee for a dog is $18.50 and the adoption fee for a cat is $16.00.

If families are struggling and cannot afford to feed their pets, the shelter still provides free pet food while supplies last.

Weather permitting, the Animal Shelter is planning to host offsite adoption events at Petsense in the coming weeks.
