The LaGrange girls soccer team won its first game of the season on Tuesday, topping Upson-Lee 3-0 on the road.
The Grangers have struggled through an extremely tough schedule to start the season and had scored just one goal in the opening six games of the season. Tuesday felt like sweet relief for LaGange as the team scored goals on one end and kept clean sheet on the other.
The night belonged to Reese Humphries. The star attacking midfielder delivered a hat trick for her side, scoring a goal in the first half before adding two more to her tally in the second.
Sophomores Briley Cooper and Herra Thurman each provided an assist in the game.
LaGrange improved to 1-6 on the season, but most importantly the Grangers are 1-0 in region play. LaGrange will host Mary Persons on Friday for another important region matchup,
