LaGrange have arrested a parolee accused of elderly abuse.

On Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at about 1:55 p.m.M, officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to the 200 block of Taylor Road in reference to a domestic dispute.

When officers arrived, they located the 70-year-old victim sustaining multiple serious injuries to various parts of his body. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and subsequently sent to an Atlanta area hospital to receive further treatment.

The Criminal Investigations Division immediately responded and began an investigation. Cody Toney was taken into custody on Wednesday, Feb. 26 and charged with Aggravated Battery and Exploitation of an Elder.

Toney was on parole at the time of his arrest.
