Three men and a woman were killed in a two-vehicle crash just after midnight Sunday on Wares Crossroad.

Around 12:24 a.m., a red Nissan Altima traveling west on Wares Crossroad at New Frankin Road (US 27) crashed into a GMC Sierra 2500 headed northbound. Authorities say the Altima failed to stop at a red light causing the collision.

All four occupants of the Altima died in the collision, including one passenger who was ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the truck’s injuries were not life-threatening.

Troup County Coroner Erin Hackley has identified the victims of the crash as Caleb Bonds, 25; Zanquavious Swint,  23; Amanda Arrington, 32; and James Palmer, 33. All four were from LaGrange.

Swint was driving the Altima when the collision occurred.

This accident is still under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
