Brenda Roman

Brenda Roman, age 62, of LaGrange, GA passed away peacefully on Feb. 24, 2025.

She was born on October 3, 1962, in LaGrange, GA, to Joe Hill Scott Jr. and the late Helen Scott.

Brenda was a devoted wife to her late husband, Christopher Alan Roman Sr. for 37 years, and a loving mother to her three children: Corrie Roman, Kelly Sweet (husband Josiah Sweet), and Christopher Roman (wife Sara Roman). She was also a cherished grandmother to JoJo Sweet, Paxton Sweet, Christopher Alan Roman lll (Calan)  and Margaret Ellen Roman. Sister and brother-in-law- Tammy and Tony Swink. sister-in-law, Laura Lou Roman (Dave Dearden) ; nieces, Savannah McConnell(Jacob)  and Cecelia Swink( Andrew Clements) nephews, Derek Oakey, Stephen (Charity) Oakey and Tommy Swink; several other relatives and friends.

Her family was her heart, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Brenda was a kind, loving, and selfless woman who always put her family first. She was the epitome of strength and grace, and her warm spirit touched the lives of everyone around her.

Brenda’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

In her honor, the family will be holding a funeral service on March 8, 2025 at First Baptist Church on the Square in LaGrange, GA. Visitation will be held from 1 PM-2:45 PM and the service will start at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Clearview Chapel in memory of Brenda Roman. Brenda had a heart for missions. She was able to spread the love of Christ in many areas including Costa Rica and Honduras. All gifts received will be used for missions work in Honduras with Heart to Honduras. 2101 S.
