Lewis and Broad Media is proud to present the third annual Listen LaGrange, a mini music festival bringing together local artists for an afternoon of live music, community, and giving back. The event will take place on April 27, at Pure Life House of Music in the Hillside neighborhood of LaGrange. All proceeds will benefit Circles of Troup County, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through relationship-driven support.

Circles of Troup County works to empower families facing poverty by building intentional relationships with volunteers who serve as mentors and allies. Through financial education, job support, and community engagement, Circles helps individuals gain the skills and resources they need to achieve economic stability.

“We believe in the mission of Circles of Troup County and their commitment to empowering individuals and families,” said Jenna Eady, Director of Lewis and Broad Media. “This festival is a way for us to support their work while celebrating the incredible music culture of our region.”

Listen LaGrange is made possible thanks to the generous support of Maggie McDonald and Pure Life House of Music.

“Maggie has been an incredible host these past few years and a huge help in connecting us with talented local musicians,” Eady said. “We’re so thankful for her partnership and for the welcoming space Pure Life provides for this event.”

In addition to live music, attendees can enjoy food trucks and a lively, family-friendly atmosphere.

“Last year, we were able to raise over $10,000 for Circles, and we hope to do even more this year,” Eady added. “We are grateful for the community’s support and excited to see Listen LaGrange continue to grow.”

Circles of Troup County Director Sherri Brown said they couldn’t do what they do without support from the community.

“We are a nonprofit and we have to raise 100% of our budget every year. This is a huge contribution to that. It makes such a difference to have the community supporting the community because that’s really what we do. We provide support systems for people, our neighbors to get ahead,” Brown said.

Brown said the fundraiser was started by First Presbyterian Church, who organized the event with Pure Life.

“It’s just a way to provide a fun day for the community, but also support Circles. We love it,” Brown said.
