The LaGrange Fire Department will host its quarterly Blood Drive at the LaGrange Fire Department’s Training Room located at 115 Hill Street in LaGrange on Friday, March 14, 10am-3pm.
They need a boost. The goal for this blood drive is 30 units. They are currently at 8 appointments, which might seem like enough, but they still need to fill 25 slots to ensure success.
If you would consider donating a Power Red donation, they should easily hit the goal. If you know anyone who might be interested in donating, have them register online, the app or bring them along as a walk-in. We have a critical shortage of blood nationwide at the moment.
The need to fill our hospital shelves with blood never ends as long as there are lives to save. Be sure to fill out the Rapid Pass on the app or www.redcrossblood.org for quicker processing. They look forward to seeing you tomorrow. We can’t Save Lives without you!
The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
The LaGrange Fire Department thanks you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program.
Download the Red Cross Blood Donor App on the App Store, Google Play or text BLOODAPP to 90999. Schedule appointments, view your blood type and results of your mini-physical, and track your donations.
