The LaGrange boy soccer team cruised to its third straight win with a 6-1 home victory over Sandy Creek on Thursday.

It would take the Grangers less than two minutes into the game to break the deadlock as Aidan Collins opened the scoring. The senior captain would double the LaGrange lead with less than five minutes off the clock as the home side tore apart the Patriots in the early goings.

The third goal was just a matter of time as Bruce Martinez and Romans Outland both had great chances to make it 3-0 early in the first half. The Grangers would eventually get that third goal when freshman Ty Hollstrom found the back of the net halfway through the first half.

Outland would eventually get in on the fun, making it 4-0 with under 10 minutes left on the clock in the first half.

The second half was more one-way traffic. Luis Morales would make it 5-0 halfway through the second half.

Brennan Connell added a sixth with 13 minutes left in the game.

The Patriots would get a consolation goal two minutes later.

LaGrange improved to 7-4 overall and 4-1 in the region. The Grangers will be back in action on Friday night with a game against Lowndes at Callaway Stadium.
