Suspect out on bond for murder arrested in drug bust

On March 4, 2025, members of the LaGrange Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and the Troup County Sheriff Department’s Narcotics Unit executed a drug search warrant at 312 McCall Street, Lagrange, Georgia, to conclude an ongoing investigation.
As a result of this warrant, approximately 20 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 7 ounces of marijuana, two firearms, one of which was stolen, and multiple packaging items consistent with distribution were recovered.
David Harrison (49) was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Harrison was out on bond for Aggravated Assault and Murder through the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit (Columbus Police Department).
