TEMPORARY STORM SHELTER OPENING

Due to the impending severe weather expected this evening (March 15th) and overnight, the Hogansville Police Department is taking steps to ensure the safety of our residents. Given the seriousness of this storm system, we will be opening a temporary storm shelter for those who feel unsafe in their current housing situation.

Shelter Hours: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM -Sat. 3.15.25 and Sun. 3.16.25

We will provide updates following the 1:00 PM weather briefing tomorrow, and shelter hours may be adjusted as needed. Please check back here for the latest information.

This space has been designated as a safe place for those seeking shelter from the storm. There will be space to sit and ride out the storms with us. While we will not be providing cots or bedding, chairs and water will be available.
