A list of known storm shelters in the area:

• Old Whitesville Road Elementary School building: 1700 Whitesville Road, LaGrange, GA 30240. The shelter will be open between 7 p.m. Saturday, March 15 to 7 a.m. March 16.
  • Please note that you’re advised to bring your own snacks, blankets, pillows, and water. All pets must be crated at all times
• Hogansville Police Department: 117 Lincoln Street. Shelter Hours: 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. from Saturday, March 15 to Sunday, March 16.
• Rosemont Baptist Church: 3794 Hamilton Rd LaGrange, GA 30241. Open from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m. from Saturday, March 15, to Sunday, March 16.
  • Due to space restrictions…cots, bedding and pets are not allowed. There will be chairs and water available. Please enter from the lower drive-through area (near the gym)
• Gray Hill Church of God: 2581 Bartley Rd. LaGrange, GA
