LaGrange Police have arrested a young man accused of killing his twin brother.

Around 6:15 p.m., Friday evening, LaGrange Police were called to a residence on Hearthstone Drive about reports of a woman coming home and finding her son unconscious in the living room.

Officers arrived and found Kiian Hodnett, 20, and attempted CPR but he was determined to be deceased from gunshot wounds. 

During the subsequent investigation, police determined that Kiian was allegedly shot by his twin brother, Kiias Hodnett, inside their residence a short time before the call was made to 911. 

Kiias, 20, was brought to the police department where he was later charged with malice murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. 

Kiias Hodnett was not on active parole or probation at the time of the arrest.

This case is still under investigation by the LaGrange Police Department.
