Humphries and Rockwell combine to score nine goals to lead LaGrange past Troup

The LaGrange girl’s soccer team breezed past rival Troup for a 10-0 victory at Callaway Stadium on Tuesday.
It was all Grangers from the offset and they never slowed down as the game ended by mercy rule in the second half.
Reese Humphries was at the heart of the Granger win. The junior has been a leader for the team this season and Tuesday was no different as she finished with a whopping five goals and three assists. Not to be outdone, Amelia Rockwell also shined on offense, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
Sophomore Briley Cooper scored a goal and assisted a goal. Freshman Audrey Hill finished with two assists, while Emma Maradik and Grace Johnson finished with an assist apiece.
Morgan Barber kept a clean sheet for the Grangers in goal.
Troup fell to 0-14 on the season. The Tigers will play their final game of the season at Mary Persons on Friday.
LaGrange improved to 4-9 overall and 4-2 in region play. The Grangers will have a massive region game against Whitewater at home on Thursday.
