Eleanor Ann Hoppe passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025 in Brooks, Georgia at the age of 85. A devoted mother, grandmother, and wife, Eleanor spent her life nurturing the ones she loved, cultivating a legacy of warmth and kindness.
Born January 29,, 1940 in Sterling Colorado to Louis and Eleanor Cabela, “Ellie”, a caring individual, touched the lives of those who knew her. She married the late Frederick D. Hoppe Jr. in 1959 and raised 4 children: Stephen (dec. 1982) Randy (Amy) Hoppe, Terry (Teri) Hoppe and Teenie (Bob) Vitale. She felt forever blessed becoming a doting grandmother to her beloved grandchildren: Steve (Marzia), Nick (Lauren), Jessica (Adam), Charlie (Whitney), Ana (Cory), Bo (Courtney), and Lance (Alex), and later embracing her great-grandchildren, Ellie, Harper, Maddux, Brooks, Addison and C.J. with all the warmth and care that only the best grandmother could give.
Services will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheatridge Colorado on April 3rd at 2:00 pm in the Archdiocese of Denver Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor’s name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, and/or Tunnel to Towers.
