LaGrange will host the fourth annual Spring Artisan Market on April 26.
The annual maker’s market that fills the streets of Downtown LaGrange with dozens of artisans and crafters is presented by Emberglow.
Nikki Franklin, owner of Embreglow, coordinates the annual event in partnership with the Downtown LaGrange Development Authority and the city.
The market is an opportunity for makers, small business owners and entrepreneurs to be able to share their work with the community and even demonstrate how they make it, Franklin said.
“Our focus is really artistry. This market is not your typical market because you’ll be able to walk down the streets of LaGrange and actually see art in the making,” Franklin said. “You’ll see live paintings. You’ll see someone on a pottery wheel. Kids are able to have that interactive piece of the arts.”
The event will have great food and music from food trucks and live musicians, but the arts are the focus of the event. Headliner Whiskey Moon will perform live during the event at the Visit LaGrange stage.
“It gives people the opportunity to not only showcase their small business and the items that they create on a daily basis, but also gives them the opportunity to get in front of the community, to let them know what items they sell,” Franklin said.
Franklin said they have about 65 vendors for this year’s market, which will expand the market through Ridley Avenue. Vendor applications are no longer being accepted for this year’s event.
The 2025 Spring Artisan Market will be held Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 200 Ridley Avenue in LaGrange.
