Pedestrian injured in hit and run on Bull Street

On March 27, 2025 at approximately 1:08 p.m. officers from Lagrange Police Department responded to the intersection of Bull Street and Broome Street in reference to a collision with injuries. Upon arrival, officers on scene determined that a red Honda Crosstour was traveling southbound on Bull Street and was making a right hand turn onto Broome Street. The driver of this vehicle was turning right onto Broome Street from Bull Street when the driver struck the pedestrian walking in the crosswalk, causing serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
The Lagrange Police Department Traffic Division responded in order to assist with the collision and is currently reviewing video surveillance cameras of the collision. Sergeant Wesley Engle responded to the scene and observed a couple of witnesses in the area of the collision on video footage and is reaching out to the witnesses for their assistance in this collision.
