Lynn passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at her residence.
Survivors include her parents, Ricky and Rita Parmer of Roanoke; maternal grandfather, Frank Crowe of Roanoke; her partner, Lorien Allen of Roanoke; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lynn was born in LaGrange, Georgia on April 7, 1985, the daughter of Richard Lee, Sr. and Rita Jean Crowe Parmer. A self-professed nerd at heart, she was the student body president and valedictorian of her graduating class at LaGrange Academy. After high school, Lynn continued her education at Furman University where she played softball throughout her collegiate career. She loved sports; she followed every aspect of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Lynn was in her “happy place” in the mountains, she loved to go hiking and camping. She also enjoyed lame dad jokes and playing board games with her friends. Lynn was a history buff and was looking forward to visiting some of the Civil War historical sites. She enjoyed cooking for others and mulling over grilling ideas and recipes with her dad. Lynn had a tender heart for animals, especially dogs; her tender heart led her to a goal of becoming a therapist to help others in their recovery journey. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Lee Parmer, Jr. and her grandparents C.L. (Lee) and Janett Parmer and Frances Crowe.
Memorials may be floral or the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Randolph County Animal Shelter or to the Mayo Clinic to assist in CTE research.
