Former Callaway and UGA football star arrested on rape charge

Former Callaway and UGA football star Terry Godwin was arrested on March 31 by the LaGrange Police Department for rape-strong arm, according to LPD. Godwin is being held at the Troup County Jail without bond.
Godwin played at Callaway High School from 2011-2014 where he was named to the USA Today All-USA First Team defense and was rated the no. 1 overall prospect in the State of Georgia for the 2015 recruiting class by Rivals.com.
Godwin went on to play at UGA for four years where he accumulated 133 receptions for 1,788 yards and 11 touchdowns. After being picked in the seventh round of the 2017 draft, Godwin spent three seasons in the NFL.
