The ninth annual Open Air Meriwether is here. Twenty-two professional artists from Georgia will be capturing landscapes and historic sites across Meriwether county.
You can see their beautiful artwork for one day only on Saturday, April 12th, from 1pm to 4pm in The Seed House at the Cotton Fair Grounds Gay, GA, Additionally, you can browse and purchase the artwork online as soon as the paintings are finished, starting on Wednesday, April 9th, until midnight on Sunday, April 13th, 2025 at OpenAirMeriwether.com
This year’s artist are: Beth Blackwell Cullen from Atlanta; Bambi Rogers and Eleanor Stecker from Barnesville; Janet Clukie from Dawsonville; Kendall Portis from East Point; Charles DeRuiter and Lydia Ellis from Fayetteville; Amanda Lovett from Gainesville; Melanie Handy from Griffin; Preston King from Homerville; Meagan Thomas from Juliette; Randall Parmer, Seyoung Kulp and Steve Close from LaGrange; Ed Cahil from Marietta; David Boyd and Lamar Gilstrap from Newnan; Lisa Swift from Senoia; Lynette Fink from Sharpsburg; Charlie Warner from West Point; and Charles Scogings from Valley, Alabama.
