The Callaway boys soccer team earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Lithonia for senior night on Tuesday.

Junior Jayden Bailey was the team’s savior on the night, and his two goals proved pivotal. He opened the scoring for Callaway in the 25th minute and added the winning goal 15 minutes into the second half.

Angel Martinez scored an important goal as well, finding the back of the net just minutes after Bailey’s first goal.

Brayden Morris made three saves in goal for Callaway.

The Cavaliers took a moment before the game to celebrate the team’s five seniors — Christian Cook, Angel Vasquez, Robbie Dorman, Kaydon Pike and Morris.

Callaway improved to 12-6 overall. The Cavaliers have wrapped region play with a record of 7-3, which will see the team finish as region runner-up. Callaway will play the regular season finale at Luella on Thursday.
