Sola’s first career hat trick lifts Callaway past Luella

The Callaway girls soccer team wrapped the 2025 regular season on Thursday with a 4-2 victory of Luella.

The night belonged to senior Bianka Sola as she scored her first career hat trick. The first-year soccer player has flourished with the Cavaliers. She opened the scoring in the 15th minute before adding a second early in the second half. The senior would cap off her hat trick with a goal in the final minute of the game. 

Sofia Flores scored the only other goal for Callaway on the eve of halftime. Becca Bryan picked up two assists on the night, with Flores and Isla Garcia each contributing one as well. 

Alayna Leithleiter made five saves in goal. 

Callaway has won three in a row and five of its last six games heading into the playoffs. The Cavaliers will take a 13-5 record into the postseason. The team awaits to see if they will be at home or on the road for the first round of the 2A state playoffs.
