LaGrange trounces Fayette County, celebrates four on senior night

The LaGrange boys soccer team put on a show in their regular season finale on Friday, blowing out Fayette County 11-1 at Callaway Stadium.

The Grangers were down two starters with Ty Hollstrom and Brennan Connell picking up injuries against East Coweta on Thursday. It did not matter as the Grangers stormed past the Tigers on Friday. 

Aidan Collins and Luis Morales led the Grangers’ attack, with both players scoring a hat trick on the night. Morales also picked up two assists in the game.

Jorge Roblero, Caleb Browning, Jordy Abelardo, Steve Oh, and Marlon Martinez all got in on the fun with a goal each. Browning finished with two assists while Oh had one.

Kenzo Sato finished the game with two assists, and Bruce Martinez had one assist.

Asher Raley started in goal for the Grangers.

Before the game, LaGrange celebrated its four senior players, Tucker Borders, Daniel Perez, Collins and Roblero, for senior night 

LaGrange wrapped the regular season with an 11-7 record and finished third in Region 2-3A. The Grangers will wait to see if they will be on the road or at home for the opening round of playoffs next Friday.
