UPDATE: Suspect arrested in N. Greenwood St shooting

UPDATE: On April 23, 2025, at 1100 hours, a suspect, Tahlen Dean, of Woodbury, Georgia, was taken into custody for her involvement in this shooting incident. At the time of Dean’s arrest, she was not currently on bond for any unrelated offense. Additionally, Dean is not on active probation or parole.

The Lagrange Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is continuing its investigation into this incident. Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact Detective K. On March 28, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers from the LaGrange Police Department responded to 828 N. Greenwood Street in reference to a person shot.

Upon arrival, Officers did not locate any victims at the location but found obvious signs that a shooting incident had occurred. A short time later, Officers were notified that two victims, Quentayvious Woodyard and De’rodrigos White, arrived at WellStar Medical Center suffering from gunshot wounds. At this time, it appears that the injuries are serious but non-life-threatening.
